D3 - Gauss channel

Good morning.

Is there a way for us to create permanent channels like our old Gauss during D2 days? If not - how are we going to organize ourselves for some coop gaming?

I was wondering this as well as Urb recently tried to get a channel together. It was a bit fiddly and every time someone logs out he needs to be reinvited, so no permanent channel on d3 itself for now.
But there are ways to get a permanent channel out of the game, like on IRC. Would that be an option?
