from looking through the logs i can see 2 errors getting annoying - avatar directory needs to accept saves and for mail to work i need to hook up to a mail server

ill try and sort those bits by tonight

Also would it be nice if you go to a topic with unread posts, it would show which posts are unread. Otherwise we have to scroll down and search for it all the time.

Clicking the orange 'new' symbol takes you to the first unread post^. Or do you want to see which ones are unread as well? if that's doable, then why not I suppose
