I know we don’t all have time to frequent the forums as much as much as we want to but I made a post a month ago, as follows:-
“Good day fellow gaussers
Diablo III has launched with a boom now and we will find ourselves playing with a varied selection of people within the community. Everybody who currently holds member status and above here is a valued and appreciated member but I feel we could do with knowing more about each other on a more personal level. The idea is to write a brief introduction of you for future referral for members to know who they are playing with and make everyone feel more at home!
There will be a timescale on this, purely due to the urgency of having it done and ready for the current situation, and we will demote members who don’t have this completed within three weeks.
“What?!” I hear you cry! “I already made a damn application to join!” This is not the same. This introduction is a gateway to making new friends although you can base it on the same criteria:-
Name (or nickname if you really wouldn’t like to be referred to by your real name)
Age
Where you are from; country/city, movements, etc
Information about yourself: work, hobby, interests, etc
Diablo history (a must!)
Gauss history: Why you joined and perhaps who/what brought u here.”
Please reply to this email with your introduction and I will re-instate your level of membership (if you cared to get one...). Please understand this is not to bully or harass anyone, but to bring our community together.
