Diablo History: Started playing D2 LoD in mid 2002, I think. At that time i did not have any internet connection. During those years, the only connection available to the public here was a government dial-up connection with a speed of 6kbps. So I played single player sc, solo. That was the time when I used to play for 48 hours a day and it took almost 2 years for me to reach Hell difficulty for the first time with any character (mostly played thorn zealot and frenzy barb). But I played day after day and my favorite weapon was a 3sox flail with 1 p sapphire + 2 p emerald. I had absolutely no idea about rune words and other features of the game. Then in 2005 life called, I quit playing.
In 2009 D2 called, I came back to playing. But this time I was introduced to Battle.net and wow, what a world is that! Again I started to play for 48 hours a day. But always softcore. Then D3 came out. It was very hard for me to collect a legit D3 as it is not available here at all. I had to request my sister in NY to send me a D3 pack with a friend of hers who was traveling. The original D2 and LoD I purchased in 2005 while I was traveling to London from Sheffield (that's why I play in Europe realm ). But D3, either I am too old to appreciate it or it will take another 2 years for me to appreciate it as it was with D2. So, D2 again. But this time softcore hardly held any attraction left for me. And I started playing D2 hardcore on 13th October 2013.
Gauss History: D2 hardcore is awesome! It magicked me. Charmed me. Diablo's fire killed my starfe locked lvl 31 ama. PKed me. And all these just reminded me of my early D2 days. But I am lonely there. Hardly any open games and those games are highly risky. I need friends to play with. I was browsing through IncGamers (only forum I am a member of other than Op Gauss now) and came across reference of Op Gauss. No one know me here and hardly anyone knows me in IncGamers as in a forum I am mostly a reader. I can only play for 2-3 hours a day at best as that is all the time my job and my family allows me. But I would like to spend this little time with friends. My account name is tapas125 (Europe HC). Please play with me.
