D2 history: I've played this game forever and as the ladder resets in a few days I thought that I might as well reapply in case any of the Gauss-people are still around.
Why do you want to join: I remember playing with people like fisk, Kaxe and a couple of guys who hung around a few ladders ago (pre-Diablo III). They were all serious gamers with a good attitude as far as I can remember. I really enjoyed the atmosphere, the Baal runs, rushes, muling and everything that was going. You can never have enough good friends online, right? I also like the idea of having people playing legit, since I've always felt that chicken and maphack (at least to a degree) ruins the fun, especially in hardcore.
Who told you about Gauss and got anyone who can vouch for you: I'm not sure who would still be around and remember me, but I believe I used to play as *PsykiskTestbild - so if anyone remembers me or wanna have a chat I'm up for it. Originally I believe I got in by hearing of you guys at dii.net.
Chars: I haven't really decided yet. I think I'll be running a sorceress and an amazon until I can gear up a godlike ww or zerk barbarian.

Ah, Klep and Talman. I remember both of you! Great to see some familiar names from the get go. I'll be running through normal and possibly nightmare with two friends tonight, so I'm not sure if I'll be at the Gauss-crews disposal as the servers goes live. If either of my friends dies or just goes soft and leave early I'll try to get a hold of someone and join up with you guys if there is room.

My first character will by the looks of it be a Sorceress with a Barbarian following once I get my sorc going and some items/runes to work with.
